Week 115 - "Life-Forms"

This song is based on Data's "Life-Forms" song from Star Trek: Generations.  I took what was given and expanded it, adding original verses.  This recording also features me playing my beautiful rosewood xylophone.

Lyrics:
Life-forms
You tiny little life-forms
You precious little life-forms
Where are you?

I Was trav'ling through space at the helm of the Enterprise one day.
I approached a new planet and turned on my full sensor array.
Now I know there's nothing in the galaxy I'd rather do.
Than explore the cosmos scanning them for life-forms just with you.

Life-forms
You tiny little life-forms
You precious little life-forms
Where are you?

Alpha quadrant is crawling with life that is known to me and you.
But Delta quadrant is chock-full of wonderful species strange and new.
It could be the standard carbon-based kind that we've always known
Or it could be some strange form of life that's based on silicone.

Life-forms
You tiny little life-forms
You precious little life-forms
Where are you?

UPDATE:
Brent Spiner (Data himself) retweeted this song via Twitter.  Thanks, Commander!
